This past weekend a few more menschey friends took the time to get together w/Ilan at Century City for dinner. Ilan was thrilled to be with old friends and the sound of his shrill excited laughter filled the air in the food courtyard - others (not shown in picture, taken on cellphone) also joined them for a long chat.Thank you guys!!

I'm so glad that I came across your blog and most importantly, I'm so happy to see that Ilan is doing well. I was there the day the accident happened. I was about a block away walking towards the intersection with my husband. Neither of us will ever forget what we saw and how deeply affected we were. I was going through old emails recently and came across one I had sent to the local paper trying to find out if Ilan was ok. The response I received at the time was that the family wanted to keep things private. Over the years we've thought about him & his family & wondered what happened. I just did a search & I'm glad that my questions have been answered through your blog. My heartfelt & very best wishes for his continued success!!
